The Slifer House is here to provide the collaboration and energy and that all teams desire while offering a flexible and fun work environment. The work hard, play hard mentality of our mountain communities comes alive at The Slifer House! 

The Slifer House empowers our staff and brokers to work better and to play harder. The space is built for mountain living, with activity lockers, showers, a wellness area, a mud room, plus a kitchen, bar, library and game room. The game room brings the action indoors from Shuffleboard to nostalgic arcade games like Pac Man and Donkey Kong. We’ve even hung a custom neon sign that says “We’re just getting started” — and nearly 60 years on, we’re dedicated to making every day at SFF one that’s fresh and new, and full of possibility.

the HOUSE rules

As with any house, we need a few rules to keep things running smoothly. Here are some things to keep in mind when considering The Slifer House as your new home office.

• The Slifer House is intended as a full-time work space for those Brokers assigned to this office. If you need something from your corporate team please stop by but if you hang out too long, we might keep you!

• This is an open air, collaborative environment. However, please respect your neighbor by using your best judgement on sound control

• There are six phone booths for private phone or in-person conversations, not to mention numerous break out areas

• Please clean up after yourself, this house belongs to us all

• The Video Conference Room, Training Room and Recording Studio will be on a reservation schedule. If it is not reserved, you are welcome to use it

• Brokers that live at The House are not assigned to a particular desk. There are a variety of areas and work spaces to choose from each day

• Each Broker will be given a private locker to store your items you would like to leave at The House

• Everyone at The House will be welcome to use one of the many activity lockers in the Game Room to store your athletic equipment for the day

• The ski rack in the mud room is intended for day use, not a permanent ski storage

• Everyone who lives at The House will have free underground parking. The spaces in front of The House are for customers and guests

• The Slifer House does not offer parking for skiing. If you use your parking space we expect you are there to work

• Have files you want to keep? OMCs and the tech team will work with each Broker to help them transfer any files they would like to keep to the Cloud
